Start ups
Ever since we have been in business, we have debated what the most stimulating assignment would be, one in which we would really enjoy offering our managerial expertise. Right from the beginning the answer has been the start up of a new business. To see your child being born is a truly moving experience and to see a business come into being is equally exciting, maybe for different reasons, but still very exciting.
What we do is support the entrepreneur who wants to implement his Business Plan and discuss the mix of the business formula with him: the product or service, the production unit, prices, variable and fixed costs, image, human resources and organizational structure, location, distribution, quality, the necessary financial resources, business practices and the naming of the company and the product or service. All issues that can be resolved only by long discussion and thorough analysis together with the budding entrepreneur, whose head is full of ideas but who often lacks complete knowledge of the options available on the market in production, commerce, finance and technology.
What can Contract Manager s.r.l. do in these cases? There are different ways in which we can help.
The first is to provide insightful, professional support to the entrepreneur in drawing up the Business Plan; this support is advisory and informative rather than operational. The second is hands-on management, which means working side by side with him to set up the main activities for the actual start up of the new company. The main operations involved are forming the company, making shareholders’ agreements, choosing a location for the plants whether owned by the company or third parties, selecting top management resources, setting up the IT system, establishing financial control systems etc. It is of great benefit to the budding entrepreneur to have the support of an experienced manager who activates the start up, then hands over management to the new organization he has set up.
Start up assignments last from six to twelve months.
